SPF50+ Hats

The concern for damage by UV light from the sun is deeply rooted in our company's mission. In each new Bronté summer collection, you'll find more hat designs to choose from that protect against UV light. That's why we've created a special section with all hats and caps that offer SPF50 for face and eyes. In addition you protect your hair against colouring and dryness.

Obviously, the wider the brim, the more protective shade it will provide. We recommend a hat brim of at least 6 cm. Wear the hat deeply to cover the central part of your forehead: we recommend that you wear your hat so that there is approx. 2 cm of space between the hat and your eyebrows. Did you know that ears are susceptible to UV damage? Make sure your hat covers your ears when choosing suitable head protection.

You can't go wrong with a fedora hat with a brim of at least 6 cm wide and SPF-protection. If you prefer to wear caps, choose a cap with a large peak. For a more feminin look, we recommend caps like Emma or Linda.
Linda has a peak that starts behind one ear, widens towards the nose and shortens towards the other ear.
Don't forget to regularly apply SPF50 sunscreen to your ears and neck to optimize protection against the UV-rays.
